Voor de zestiende keer organiseert het Fryderyk Chopin Institute het Internationale Chopin-concours in Warschau. Het concours zelf vindt plaats van 2 tot 23 oktober 2010, de selectierondes worden gehouden tussen 12 en 21 april 2010. De inschrijving sluit op 1 december 2009 (datum van de poststempel). Regionale Contactdag Maastricht, zaterdag 9 oktober 2010
Na succesvolle dagen in Zwolle, Utrecht en Groningen is het de beurt aan Maastricht: een bruisende ontmoetingsdag voor leden en niet-leden, georganiseerd door het Conservatorium Maastricht en EPTA. Coördinator is Alejandro Serena Llinares, methodiekdocent aldaar, samen met enkele EPTA-leden. De dag biedt presentaties en workshops en duurt van 10 tot ± 17.30 uur.

-Jacques Ogg (Improviseren in 18de eeuwse stijl - workshop improvisatie en het spelen van cadensen en Eingänge op fortepiano)
-Jeroen Riemsdijk (workshop prima vistaspel)

-Felix Vermeirsch (een Vlaamse jongen van 11 jaar die componeert, o.a. voor piano)
-Frans Feron (Muziek maakt kinderen slimmer - Muziek en Brein, over het belang van muziekles voor kinderen).

Chopin" silver plate of the President of the Republic and under the patronage of the Ministry for Culture and with the contribution of the Ministry for Youth and of the City of Rome - Assessorato alle Politiche Cuturali e della Comunicazione and the with the contribution of the Fondation Cuomo of Monaco and under the patronage of EPTA-Italy.

Four Hands Duo - born since 1976 on - one round;

Het Internationaal Piano Concours voor jonge musici wordt gehouden op 23-29 oktober 2010 in het Nationaal Muziekkwartier, Enschede. Dit concours wordt sinds 2001 georganiseerd en staat open voor pianisten van 10 tot en met 19 jaar. De deelnemers worden ingedeeld in twee leeftijdscategorieën: 10 t/m 15 jaar (categorie A) en 16 t/m 19 jaar (categorie B). Elke categorie kent twee ronden: een voorronde en een finale. De finale van categorie B vindt plaats op 27 oktober, de finale van categorie A een dag later, op 28 oktober. Het concours wordt gesloten op vrijdag 29 oktober met een concert van de winnaars. Inschrijving is open tot 1 juli 2010.

Topic: Chopin in the Contemporary World

In 2010 the piano world will commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Frederic Chopin (1810-1849). EPTA Slovenia’s executive committee has decided to choose Chopin as the theme for the 32nd EPTA conference. Our call for submissions is addressed to all EPTA members and members of EPTA associates as well as to other piano teachers, musicians and music lovers who will contribute to the quality of the entire event.

EPTA Slovenia is inviting proposals for lectures, recitals, lecture-recitals and other forms of presentation for the 32nd EPTA International Conference. The conference will be held in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet , Izanska 12, on October 27-30, 2010. The submission deadline for all proposals is Monday, 1st of March 2010, the 200th Anniversary of the birth of Chopin.

De 65ste editie van dit tweejaarlijkse concours is gewijd aan piano (7-18 november 2010) en hobo (4-15 november 2010). De jury van het pianoconcours wordt gevormd door o.a. Jacques Rouvier (Frankrijk), Dmitri Alexeev (Rusland) en Michiko Okamoto (Japan). De inschrijving is open voor pianisten geboren na 30 oktober 1980. De deadline voor aanmeldingen is 30 april 2010. Dit jaar is het EPTA-congres in het weekend van 13 en 14 november. Noteer deze data alvast in je agenda. De commissie is weer druk doende om een boeiende en veelzijdige invulling aan dit congres te geven.

The 4th Svetislav Stancic International Piano Competition will be held from 7th – 13th February 2011 in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, Croatia.

Het Internationaal Franz Liszt Pianoconcours wordt elke drie jaar in Utrecht
gehouden. Het 9de Internationaal Franz Liszt Pianoconcours vindt plaats van 27 maart tot en met 9 april 2011 in Utrecht. Het is onderdeel van het Europese Liszt-jaar 2011. In hetzelfde jaar viert het Liszt Concours zelf het 25-jarig bestaan. De Internationale Selectieronden vinden plaats in september-oktober 2010 in Shanghai, Moskou, Utrecht en New York.
De internationale Selectiejury wordt gevormd door Quinten Peelen (niet-stemmende voorzitter), Choong-Mo Kang (Zuid-Korea), Igor Roma (Italië), Jacques Rouvier (Frankrijk) en Rian de Waal (Nederland). De kandidaten moeten op 27 maart 2011 tussen de 17 en 29 jaar oud zijn. Inschrijving is geopend tot uiterlijk 15 juni 2010.

The 7th EPTA International Competition for Young Pianists will be held from 26th – 30th April 2011 in the Franjo Kuhač Music School in Osijek, Croatia.

  The Competition is divided into three categories:
Category A – participants born on 26 April 1998 or later (one Round)
Category B – participants born on 26 April 1995 or later (one Round)
Category C – participants born on 26 April 1992 or later (two Rounds)

Deadline for Application is 19 March 2011.

De Lipatt-Haskil-Foundation stelt zich onder andere ten doel het artistieke erfgoed van de Roemeense pianisten Dinu Lipatti en Clara Haskil te promoten. Naast andere activiteiten staat een Internationale Master Class op het programma voor het jaar 2011, te houden in Roemnië. Deze Master Class is toegankelijk voor gevorderde pianisten in de leeftijd van 18 t/m 27 jaar.
